Holborn is full of surprises and a much more a fascinating area than people expect – it's a part of central London that many travel through but few stop to explore, and our walk will discover the roots of London law, journalism, literature, strange churches and some of London's most interesting ale houses – although the pubs should come as no surprise in an area full of lawyers and journalists. We'll dabble in diamonds and follow in the footsteps of William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Tony Blair, The knights Templar and Elizabeth the First.
